Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara remains optimistic about securing a top-four finish in the Ghana Premier League.
His comments followed a goalless draw against archrivals Asante Kotoko on Matchday 30 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After the match, Ouattara described the result as fair but expressed disappointment over his team’s missed opportunities.
“I’ll take the draw,” he said. “We aimed to win, but it’s a fair result.”
“Our inability to score was the issue,” he added. “I’ve learned a lot from this game and will discuss it with the players.”
Despite the draw, Ouattara remained confident about his team’s chances in the league.
“We’ll keep fighting for the top four, top two, or even the title,” he stated. “We’re not giving up.”
Hearts of Oak currently sit in 6th place with 46 points, four points behind their rivals, who occupy 4th place.
Up next, Hearts of Oak will face Berekum Chelsea on Matchday 31. The game is scheduled for this weekend at Golden City Park.
