Identity and Behavioral Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur and TP Masterclass founder, CLIFF CHEQONA is expanding his personal development platform beyond trading, with plans to take the initiative to Nigeria in 2027, where it will be hosted in two cities, Lagos and Abuja.
TP Masterclass, which has recorded more than 81+ episodes, has already hosted offline experiences in Ghana and Dubai as it broadens its focus from trading education to personal transformation, leadership, emotional intelligence and purpose.
Cheqona, who is the author of the book — ‘You Are Not a Trader Yet’ —, has been trading since 2012, and mentoring traders all over the world for over six years, said his work increasingly became focused on the individual behind financial decisions rather than trading strategies alone.
According to the platform’s account of its development, his experience with traders showed that having a good strategy did not always prevent people from making poor decisions. Issues such as fear, discipline, emotional intelligence, self-perception and money psychology could influence how traders responded to pressure and uncertainty.
This led to a broader approach that places personal development at the centre of the masterclass.
“Once you start transforming the person, trading becomes too small a container,”Cheqona said.
Cheqona’s mission:
Cheqona describes TP Masterclass as part of a wider personal and spiritual mission focused on developing people and leaders.
“God has given me a mandate: to transform minds and raise Kingdom-aligned leaders,” he said.
The platform’s sessions have consequently moved into areas including identity, belief systems, emotional intelligence, healing, faith, purpose, relationships, money, discipline and leadership.
Cheqona’s philosophy is that people need to address internal limitations if they want to achieve sustainable changes in their personal or professional lives.
TP Masterclass targets Nigeria:
After holding physical experiences in Ghana and Dubai, TP Masterclass is now looking towards Nigeria as its next major expansion point.
The platform says the planned 2027 move forms part of a broader African vision aimed at encouraging conversations about identity, psychology, emotional intelligence, personal responsibility and purpose.
Cheqona’s Ghanaian identity remains an important part of the initiative, but he sees its mission as extending beyond Ghana.
The platform says it wants to encourage a generation of Africans to develop not only financially and professionally but also in areas such as self-awareness, discipline, character and leadership.
From trading platform to transformation community:
TP Masterclass now describes itself as “Africa’s #1 Transformation Masterclass”, with an ambition to develop into a broader platform bringing together educators, entrepreneurs, psychologists, pastors, traders, creators and other thought leaders.
However, the organisation’s stated focus is no longer limited to trading.
With more than 81+ episodes completed and offline experiences already held in Ghana and Dubai, Cheqona says the ultimate goal is to influence how people think, behave and lead.
“Transform the mind. Transform the person. Raise the leader. Transform the generation,” he said.
The planned Nigeria expansion in 2027 will mark the next stage of TP Masterclass’s effort to take its transformation-focused conversations to a wider African audience.
