Rihanna, born Robyn Fenty, shares two sons—RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023—with rapper A$AP Rocky. The couple revealed the news together at the gala, with Rocky—whose real name is Rakim Mayers—gratefully acknowledging the congratulations from reporters.
“It’s time to show the people what we’ve been cooking up,” he said. “I’m glad everybody’s happy for us because we’re definitely happy.”
This year’s Met Gala theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, marked the first time since 2003 that the event focused exclusively on menswear. A$AP Rocky served as a co-chair for the evening.
