Afrobeats superstar Davido has touched fans’ hearts after revealing a deeply personal moment involving his newborn twins.
He shared that one of the twins bears a striking resemblance to his late son, Ifeanyi.
In a recent interview with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1, Davido opened up about life after the tragic loss of Ifeanyi in 2022 and how the birth of his twins in 2023 has been a powerful source of healing.
“The boy looks just like my son that passed. It is scary,” he said.
Davido and his wife, Chioma, often feel as if their son has returned to them. “We’re like, ‘No, it’s him. He came back,’” he added.
Losing Ifeanyi marked the darkest period of Davido’s life. The grief compelled him to step away from the spotlight to focus on his healing and his family.
In October 2023, life took a hopeful turn when Davido and Chioma welcomed twins—a boy and a girl. The resemblance between their newborn son and Ifeanyi left loved ones stunned.
“To come back from that and be blessed with twins… it just shows God is real,” Davido reflected.
