Milk + Cookies Festival — the same festival that brought Kaytranada to South Africa this year- is making a return early next year (2026), with two shows in Cape Town (Saturday, 03 January 2026) and Johannesburg (Saturday, 10 January 2026).
The headliner and full lineup for 2026 will be announced in the coming weeks.
The 2026 edition promises to go even bigger, continuing to spotlight world-class performances, community-driven activations, and cultural exchange that put South Africa at the center of the global stage.
The early bird tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, at 08:30am.
Milk + Cookies held it down nicely this year in South Africa, bringing Kaytranada to both Johannesburg and Cape Town, throwing after-parties, and expanding its programming to Dot Connector talks and cultural mashups.
In a statement, the organisers of Milk + Cookies described the 2025 debut as a breakout cultural moment…
“Our first edition drew over 30,000 attendees, generated 250 million+ press and social media impressions, and created more than 2,000 jobs,” they said, adding that the event “established itself as more than a festival” and it continues to shape the “global-meets-local cultural movement, blending world-class performances, food, art, and community at scale.”
