BLACK WEDNESDAY in Ghana: “All Flags Should Go Half-mast”, Government directs in the wake of the Military Helicopter crash

“All Flags Should Go Half-mast” – Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah has expressed the government’s deep sorrow regarding the loss of the two senior public officials and others onboard the helicopter, thus, the directive has been issued.

The Government of Ghana says that this is in honour of the late Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Defence, and Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, among others who died in the tragic military helicopter crash this Wednesday, August 6.

The fatal incident occurred in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region while the two ministers, along with six others, were en route to Obuasi for official duties.
