Alongside the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple unveiled the new foldable iPhone, officially named iPhone Duo.
iPhone Duo arrives in two refined colors: Star White and Night Sky.
The iPhone Duo is Apple’s thinnest iPhone yet, featuring a 7.6-inch inner display for watching content, gaming, and multitasking. It also has a nano-texture finish that helps reduce glare.
When folded, the phone has a 5.4-inch outer display, giving users a large screen in a more compact, pocket-friendly design.
The iPhone Duo features a new 48MP Fusion Main camera that captures sharp, detailed photos and offers 2x optical-quality zoom.
The new inner-display FaceTime camera enables hands-free calls when the iPhone Duo is folded, and its design enables new camera features not possible on other iPhone models.
The phone runs on Apple’s new A20 Pro chip and uses a custom vapor chamber and dual-battery setup. Together, these help deliver strong performance and all-day battery life.
iPhone Duo features Touch ID in the side button, plus Camera Control and a new Siri Camera mode.
Later this year, iPhone Duo will support Apple Pencil with USB-C, allowing users to take notes, sketch, or mark up documents on either display.
Pre-orders begin Friday, October 16, with availability beginning Friday, October 23.
