The year ends in style as LEMKUS celebrates 90 years with a special First Thursday event.
The LEMKUS 90 celebration arrives right on time as we close out the year, but for the retailer, it marks a powerful milestone built on decades of culture, community, and impact.
Powered by SNKRS–the event is set for First Thursday, 04 December 2025, happening at LEMKUS store (26a St Georges Mall, Cape Town City Centre).
For 90 years, the building has stood as a cornerstone for creativity and connection, and this edition honours the people who continue to shape its legacy.
Food-wise? Jack’s Burger will be available throughout the evening. Meanwhile, Lemkus Gallery on the fourth floor will also be opening its latest group exhibition, “Notes on Paper,” inviting guests to explore a fresh body of work as part of their First Thursday experience.
This lineup speaks for itself: Atjazz (UK), Lochive, Julian Gomes, Aizo Clutch (GER), Leighton Moody, Cassiem Latief. All will be bringing together some smooth house blends that have shaped LEMKUS’ live set series over the years.
