After two postponements this year, HEY NEIGHBOUR FESTIVAL has officially been cancelled for 2025.
The organizers confirmed this week that no festival will take place this year.
However, they’ve once again promised that the event is not scrapped entirely—plans are now underway to reschedule it for 2026.
The decision was linked to needing more time for proper planning.
Organizers confirmed the festival “set to take place later this year” will no longer go ahead, with new plans “to return in 2026.”
The team says the decision allows them to “secure the necessary artist lineup, funding” and deliver an experience that lives up to its standard.
They also stressed the importance of crafting something that “captures the event’s signature spirit of community and connection.”
While disappointing for fans, the organizers are hopeful the extended break will result in a stronger comeback next year.
Hey Neighbour’s Glen Netshipise stated:
“Our promise has always been to throw the ultimate neighbourhood block party, one that lives up to the incredible loyalty of our Hey Neighbour family. Rushing the process with current constraints would compromise the very heart of what makes this event special. This difficult but necessary decision allows us the time to build a solid foundation for a spectacular celebration in 2026. We’re committed to creating a festival worth the wait.”
Organizers have advised that those who purchased tickets will receive an email outlining available options, including the choice to keep tickets for the next edition or request a refund at any time.
