Popular Ghanaian boxer and former TV host, Braimah Isaac Kamoko also known as Bukom Banku this week on THE REAL TALK PODCAST hosted by Elizabeth Essuman and her panelists, revealed what it truly takes to become a topnotch winner inside the ring.
In a candid conversation, the professional boxer who one-time had an undefeated record of 28-0-0 (21 K0), said that boxing is a sport of high intensity as well as calculation to outwit your opponent at their weakness. “You train hard and smart, apply formidable tactics against your opponent and you win, that simple”, he said.
Emphatically, he stated that boxing is all about training, training, training, to win bouts, and ‘juju’ or ‘voodoo’ has no place in there. “Honestly I don’t think anyone can just wake up, go into the ring with ‘juju’ and come out victorious; you have to train effectively, be prepared and understand that this is sports where only victors win”.
Among other subjects during the show, the one-time GhOne TV host of ‘Bukom Banku Live’ show, expressed his sympathy towards former fetish priestess turned pastor, Patricia Asiedu aka ‘Agradaa’ – and felt that the punishment (of fifteen years in prison) meted out was too harsh, rather he thinks that because she is a ‘woman’, she should have been given a lesser number of years.
