“The world is changing; both Muslim and Christian leaders should wake up to their responsibility of ensuring harmony in the world.” Host of THE REAL TALK PODCAST, Elizabeth Essuman started by paying her condolences to the fracas happening in Nigeria. Hence this week’s episode, the host with her panelists touch on the concept of God and the inner voice that talks to everyone, that voice that leads one through faith, doubt and tolerance.
As it may seem, with what’s happening in other countries in regard to religion, the days of swallowing every pill from the pulpit are gone. The congregation is now wiser and asking questions and demanding love and tolerance.
In regards to tolerance, one of the panelists, Avraham Ben Moshe mentioned that of all the practices, Traditional Religion remains the most tolerant; and this was a pity because other faiths “look down” on the cultural values of this belief. He went on to argue that any religion whose last pinch is violence has something to hide, hence in an open call, transparency must be adhered to having a peaceful world.

You may agree that many doctrines hold on rigidly to dogmas that have seen better days and already discarded in the consciousness of the liberal minded; but it must be reemphasized that the fact that both the church and the mosque have become havens of obsolete dogmas, thus, medieval intolerance and stone age abuse of the rights of the congregation between faith and doubt must be clearly and firmly abhorred.
As you watch this episode, be open minded and enjoy every bit of the intellectual discourse – it will be worth your time.
