A Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dele Momodu, has said the opposition will not play a rough game with the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Momodu made this claim on Wednesday while fielding questions in an interview on ‘Sunrise Daily’, a programme on Channels Television.
The publisher of Ovation Magazine also stressed that many of his friends who are in the APC are in pain.
He also mocked the ruling party over what he called their inability to post ambassadors after their appointment.
According to him, the APC is the problem of Nigeria and not the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
“Majority of my friends are in the APC; sometimes when I hear their pain, I feel it. They talk about pain. ADC is not the problem of Nigeria. APC is.
“We in the ADC are on point very professionally. We are not going to play a rough game with the APC. It’s not necessary.
“Most of us are veterans now. There’s nothing I’m looking for in politics. I have always been in the opposition technically and I’m happy that we are still standing firm,” he said.
