The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca‑Cola is returning to South Africa for the first time since 2018, offering fans a rare chance to see the sport’s most iconic FIFA World Cup Original Trophy.
The tour is set to make a stop in Johannesburg on 30 and 31 January 2026, and then head to Cape Town on 1 February 2026.
This visit is part of a larger global journey leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026, which Canada, Mexico, and the United States will co-host.
The opening match will see South Africa (Bafana Bafana) play Mexico, the hosts, on 11 June 2026 at the Azteca Stadium.
The 2026 tournament promises to be historic, with more teams, more games, and more excitement than ever before.

South Africa is the second African stop on the tour after Egypt. In total, the trophy will travel across 30 FIFA member associations, visiting over 75 cities in 150+ days, bringing fans closer to the heart of the game.
