“Will you marry me?”…is what I wanted to say to you at Overture, but fear did not allow me say it. What an ice breaker that would’ve been; I’m sure you’d have thought I was out of my mind…even though I’m actually crazy about you.
“Can I get your number” seemed like the responsible thing to do, but in my heart, I want more! I’ve been over thinking everything & I realized that it was okay to. It’s a serious thing to ponder on because I’m not here to play silly games with your heart. I genuinely want something serious with you and I want to love you unconditionally from now henceforth…if you’d let me.
“Can I take you out for lunch?” I’m really eager to know you more and to see you again. I can’t help but wonder if after everything we’ve both been through individually in our lives, that we’d be perfect for each other. I’m hoping we are, ‘cos you appear to be everything I want…and more! So I have to find out for certain if I’ve finally found my good thing, because I’m really excited about you. I can’t explain it; it’s not just a pretty face or a lovely smile that’s got me mesmerized. It’s you! I have this knowing in my Spirit that you’re the one GOD has been preparing me for and I’m ready to step up & start this journey of forever after with you. I’m 100% sure of it and I don’t want to waste any more time beating around the bush. I want us to clock this thing together…if you’re open to it.
