At least five countries have been eliminated from the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Morocco.
Angola and Zimbabwe are the latest teams to exit the tournament following the conclusion of the final Group B fixtures played on Monday.
Angola drew with Egypt and finished with just two points on the log, behind the Pharaohs and South Africa, who occupied second place.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, were beaten 3-2 by South Africa and finished bottom of the group with one point.
As a result, both Angola and Zimbabwe have joined Botswana, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea in exiting the tournament in Morocco.
YEMMEY NEWS had earlier reported that Botswana, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon were eliminated after the conclusion of the second round of group-stage fixtures.
