On Wednesday, 1st October 2025, history was beautifully written in Accra as the President of the Republic of Ghana and Aare Atolase of Offa, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, graciously hosted His Royal Majesty Oba Mufutau Muhammed Gbadamosi Ajagungbade I Esuwoye II, Olofa of Offa, at his private residence.
It was a gathering of royal grace and cultural pride.
His Excellency expressed his deep joy at seeing Kabiyesi Olofa and proudly declared his love for Offa, promising to renew his chieftaincy title there soon.
In return, Kabiyesi appreciated the warm hospitality and looked forward to welcoming His Excellency to Offa Kingdom.
The visit became a grand symbol of Yoruba unity and strength, as the Olofa was joined by eminent Obas, chiefs, leaders, and sons and daughters of Yoruba land across Ghana and Nigeria. Among those present were:

- HRM Oba Josiah Olanrewaju Ilemobade Aina Kuyamiku, Oloto of Awori Kingdom

- Hon. Abdulwahab Femi Agbaje, Special Adviser to Kwara State Governor on Political Affairs
Chiefs, dignitaries, and prominent Yoruba sons and daughters in Ghana including Prof. Jeleel Ojuade, Alhaji Babatunde Azeez, Chief Ibrahim Owolabi, Chief Salisu Elegushi, Chief Ganiyu Bakare, and others.




This historic meeting was more than a courtesy call—it was a powerful reminder that wherever Yoruba sons and daughters gather, our culture, royalty, and heritage continue to flourish and inspire.
