Viva Burkina Faso! No more Visa Fees for Africans traveling to Captain Ibrahim Traore’s country

Burkina Faso has announced that citizens from all African countries can now enter without paying visa fees.

The move, approved during a cabinet meeting led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, is aimed at boosting tourism, encouraging investment, and strengthening ties across Africa.

Security Minister Mahamoudou Sana said the policy is expected to attract more visitors and highlight the country’s rich cultural identity.

The government also believes this step will deepen regional cooperation and open new economic opportunities.

According to the country’s information service, this is part of a broader goal to align with the African Union’s vision for free movement across the continent.

Burkina Faso now joins the likes of Ghana, Rwanda, and Kenya, which have introduced similar visa-free policies.

By dropping these visa fees, the government hopes to show that Burkina Faso is open for business, culture, and unity — welcoming fellow Africans with fewer barriers.
