Virgin Atlantic has announced an extension of its seasonal Cape Town to London Heathrow route, now set to run from 13 October 2025 through 19 April 2026. The move brings more than 17,000 additional seats to the route, with schedules designed for smooth onward U.S. connections from Heathrow.
A dual overnight schedule kicks in from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026, aligned with Virgin Atlantic’s Johannesburg route to improve domestic and regional access.
Flight schedules:
• Heathrow to Cape Town: 10:30 pm → 12:10 pm (+1)
• Cape Town to Heathrow: 9:55 pm → 7:45 am (+1)
The Easter period will see daily flights running until 19 April 2026. All flights are serviced by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, offering passengers choices across Upper Class, Premium, and three Economy categories: Light, Classic, and Delight. Every cabin includes in-seat entertainment and Wi-Fi connectivity for a modern, comfortable journey.
