Kaya FM—now known as Kaya 959—has suspended popular radio host Sol Phenduka with immediate effect, pending the results of an internal investigation.
Kaya 959 issued a formal statement on the matter, noting: “Kaya 959 confirms that presenter Sol Phenduka has been placed on suspension with immediate effect. This step has been taken pending the outcome of an internal process currently underway.”
The station is yet to release a follow-up statement, which is expected once the internal process has been concluded.
