Well-known Ghanaian boxer and promoter Micheal Nii Ayitey Okine aka Ayittey Powers, has admitted that if not for the late Prophet TB Joshua, he would have been dead as of today; on THE REAL TALK PODCAST hosted by Elizabeth Essuman and her panelists, he revealed how, “a Nigerian saved my life, else I won’t be alive”.
In a no holds barred conversation, the veteran boxer who has competed in the light heavyweight division, and has a professional record of 48 fights (22 wins, 25 losses, and 1 draw), said that even in death of the late prophet, he (Ayittey Powers) will continue to eulogize the greatness of the man, “who once changed my destiny, and gave my life a resounding meaning”.

“Many people who have not encountered the late prophet will never understand me, and that’s okay. In one week of my attending his church in Nigeria, my life turned around, it was like an angel physically was sent to me here on Earth. One of my children is called, ‘Joshua’, and that is in respect to the late prophet for giving my life a meaning when all hope was lost”.
During the conversation, the boxing advocate was quick to point out that it was a woman that led him to understand his purpose, thus, called on men to choose ‘good character’ over anything before going into any relationship.
