It is all eyes on Comic Con Africa 2025 as the continent’s biggest pop culture and gaming festival returns to Johannesburg from 28 to 31 August at the iconic Johannesburg Expo Centre (Nasrec).
The highly anticipated four-day event promises an unforgettable experience for fans of comics, film, TV, gaming, cosplay, and collectibles.
This year’s headline talent includes some of the biggest names in global pop culture. Misha Collins, beloved for his role as Castiel in Supernatural, will be making his debut appearance at Comic Con Africa.
Joining him is Jessie T. Usher, known to fans worldwide as A-Train from the hit series The Boys, and Dan Fogler, the fan-favourite Jacob Kowalski from Fantastic Beasts. These celebrity guests will participate in panels, fan Q&As, autograph sessions, and photo opportunities, giving attendees the rare chance to meet their screen heroes in person.
Beyond the star power, Comic Con Africa 2025 will deliver a jam-packed program featuring eSports tournaments, immersive gaming experiences, cosplay competitions, and live entertainment.
