Fashion Connect Africa (FCA) proudly marks its 5th anniversary in 2025, celebrating a half-decade of championing African fashion creatives through exposure, capacity-building, and strategic partnerships.
Since its inception, FCA has remained committed to creating sustainable platforms that elevate African talent and promote the continent’s fashion industry on the global stage. From the success of FCA Fashion Week 2019 to FCA Ghana Fashion Week 2021, and several other curated initiatives, FCA has consistently delivered impactful programming designed to nurture emerging designers and spark meaningful industry conversations.
This milestone year is particularly significant as FCA prepares for its first official international outing. In partnership with FashionEVO, FCA will co-host a fashion segment at the FashionEVO Summit & Show, taking place during the upcoming Africa Creative Market in Lagos, Nigeria, this September.
FashionEVO has distinguished itself as one of the few platforms truly championing Africa’s fashion and creative sectors with clarity, consistency, and purpose. The synergy between FCA and FashionEVO represents a bold step forward in reshaping perceptions and creating sustainable opportunities for African creatives across the continent.
