Nintendo’s latest release, the Switch 2, flew off shelves with 3.5 million units sold in four days—making it the company’s fastest-selling console to date.
The announcement was made through Nintendo of America’s Twitter page.
Ahead of launch, Nintendo projected 15 million Switch 2 sales in the first year. Four days in, it’s already hit more than 20% of that.
For context, the first Switch only moved 2.7 million units in its first month, and it was priced lower than the Switch 2.
Otherwise, for those still looking—the Nintendo Switch 2 is now available at local Nintendo Stores for the retail price in their respective region.
