Mustapha is looking for a fresh start in Serbia following a challenging stint in Austria. His time at LASK was significantly disrupted by injuries, most notably during the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League campaign. In a high-profile match against Liverpool, he suffered a serious ankle sprain that sidelined him for 296 days and forced him to miss 29 games.
His injury woes continued into the following season, where lingering fitness issues caused him to miss an additional seven matches and spend another 29 days in recovery. As a result, he featured in just 10 matches for LASK last season, managing to score only one goal.
Despite these setbacks, Mustapha returns to familiar ground. He began his career in Serbia with Red Star Belgrade’s youth setup and gained valuable experience through loan spells with several domestic clubs before securing his move to Austria in early 2023.
