Mawuli Gavor Opens Up About Marriage, Fatherhood, and Life with Remya
Actor Mawuli Gavor has opened up about his personal life, offering rare insight into his three-year journey with his wife, Remya, and their young daughter. In a recent interview, Mawuli shared heartfelt details about their relationship, from how they met to becoming parents—all within the span of a year.
Remya, who is of Austrian-Indian descent, met Mawuli in 2021. The couple married in a private Ghanaian-Indian ceremony in 2022 and welcomed their daughter, Maya, shortly after. Reflecting on their swift timeline, Mawuli said he has no regrets.
“When you’re sure this is what you want to do, just go for it,” he said confidently.
Though the couple largely keeps their daughter out of the public eye, Mawuli proudly shared a photo of her during the interview. The family made a rare public appearance together at an event hosted by actor Elikem Kumordzie, marking one of the few times Maya has been seen in public.
Now in their third year of marriage, the Gavors recently celebrated the milestone with gratitude and joy. Mawuli took to Instagram to honor Remya, calling her a wonderful wife and devoted mother.
“Three years ago, my life changed,” he wrote in a heartfelt post. He highlighted two key moments that reshaped his life: the day they got married and the day they welcomed their daughter.
