ua Lipa has confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner. She described it as “a really special feeling.”
The singer, 29, has been with Turner for almost a year and a half. Turner, 35, is known for his roles in Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air. He was nominated for a Bafta in 2020 for The Capture.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” she told British Vogue. “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together is special.”
Rumors about their engagement began last Christmas. Lipa posted pictures wearing a ring at that time.
She shared that Turner had the ring made after consulting her friends and sister. “It’s so me,” she said. “It’s nice to know he knows me well.”
They have not set a wedding date yet. Lipa plans to finish her world tour first, which ends in Mexico in December. Meanwhile, Turner is busy filming.
He will star in the Apple TV sci-fi series Neuromancer, based on William Gibson’s novel from 1984.
“We’re just enjoying this period,” she said. Lipa added that she never thought much about weddings before. Now she’s wondering what kind of bride she would be.
