Glastonbury Festival 2025 Reveals Full Line-Up and Set Times – With Space Left for Surprise Acts
With just three weeks to go, Glastonbury Festival has unveiled its full line-up and stage times for 2025—offering fans a clearer picture of what to expect at Worthy Farm, while still leaving room for the festival’s trademark surprises.
Headlining the iconic Pyramid Stage this year are The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo. Each brings a distinct energy: from The 1975’s genre-blending anthems, to Neil Young’s legendary folk-rock catalogue, and Olivia Rodrigo’s emotionally charged pop.
Other standout acts include Charli XCX, Doechii, Rod Stewart, Loyle Carner, The Prodigy, and Wolf Alice. Irish rap trio Kneecap also remain on the bill after recent controversy—they were dropped from Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival due to political statements but have retained their Glastonbury slot.
Surprise Sets and Secret Slots
As always, the festival is keeping fans guessing with several “TBA” slots peppered across the schedule, sparking a fresh round of rumours. Among the likely surprise performers are Haim and Pulp. However, the internet is abuzz with speculation about more unexpected names—most notably Lady Gaga and Radiohead.
Lady Gaga last played Glastonbury in 2009 and recently hinted that it wouldn’t take much to bring her back. “It wouldn’t take much for me to say yes,” she said in an interview earlier this year.
Fans have also noticed an intriguing addition to Saturday afternoon’s Pyramid Stage schedule: a little-known band called Patchwork. The name has triggered memories of 2023, when a mysterious listing for “The ChurnUps” turned out to be a surprise set by Foo Fighters.
Festival Opens June 25 With Ceremonial Flair
Glastonbury 2025 officially kicks off on Wednesday, June 25, with two opening ceremonies that blend theatre, circus, and spiritual symbolism.
One ceremony will feature high-wire walkers and acrobats in a dynamic spectacle of lights and movement, culminating in a fireworks display at 22:45 BST.
Simultaneously, a powerful choral performance will unfold around the Flame of Hope—a symbolic fire that brings together 15 sacred flames from across the globe. A 1,000-voice choir will sing in harmony, marking a moment of global unity and celebration.
Watch Live and On-Demand
Once again, the BBC will provide extensive coverage of the festival across TV, radio, iPlayer, and BBC Sounds. More than 100 full sets are scheduled to be broadcast over the weekend, allowing fans at home to soak up the magic of Glastonbury no matter where they are.
