Shatta Wale and Kwadwo Sheldon Clash Again Amid Flooding Incident
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has reignited his long-standing feud with popular YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon following the recent floods that affected several parts of Accra, including Sheldon’s estate.
The incident occurred on Sunday, May 18, 2025, during heavy rains that left many communities submerged. Videos surfaced online showing Kwadwo Sheldon wading through his flooded neighborhood—footage that quickly went viral and caught Shatta Wale’s attention.
Despite their rocky history, Shatta Wale initially extended an offer to assist Sheldon. However, the gesture was met with hostility, as Sheldon publicly rejected the offer and responded sharply on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
In a series of posts, Shatta Wale mocked Sheldon for his predicament, sarcastically referring to him as “Terminator 25” for trudging through the water. He also criticized Sheldon for failing to invest in better housing, boasting instead about his own flood-resistant mansion.
The public quickly picked sides as the online feud escalated. While some supported Shatta Wale’s jabs, others questioned his priorities, bringing up past concerns about his mother, Mama Elsie, whom critics claim he has neglected. Supporters of Kwadwo Sheldon justified his response, referencing previous clashes and personal attacks between the two.
Kwadwo Sheldon, in rejecting Shatta Wale’s message of empathy, cited a past incident involving Shatta’s mother seeking public assistance—an issue that had previously drawn media attention.
The renewed spat has once again divided public opinion, dominating online discussions as many Ghanaians weighed in on the actions and words of both public figures.
