ECG Schedules Maintenance Works in Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions for May 15, 2025
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced scheduled maintenance activities on Wednesday, May 15, 2025, in selected parts of the Greater Accra and Ashanti Regions. These operations are part of ongoing efforts to enhance service reliability and ensure a more stable power supply to customers.
Greater Accra Region
In the Greater Accra Region, emergency maintenance will be carried out from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Areas expected to experience power outages include:
- Tseaddo
- Marie Court Estate
- Avenue Junction
- New England
- Surrounding communities
ECG regrets any inconvenience this may cause and encourages residents and businesses to plan accordingly.
Ashanti Region
Three separate maintenance operations will take place in the Ashanti Region on the same day:
- First Operation: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

- Kronum Cement
- Nketiah
- Asuofua
- Offinso
- Other nearby communities
- Second Operation: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Affected areas:- Fawoade
- Mamponteng
- Ntonso
- Adjoining areas
- Third Operation: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Affected areas:- Piase
- Deduako
- Mim
- New Brodakwaw
- Beposo
- Other surrounding communities
