GH Dolphins Dominate at Third President’s Cup Swimming Championship
The Ghana Swimming Association (GSA) successfully hosted the third edition of the President’s Cup on May 11, 2025, at the Borteyman Sports Complex, delivering an exciting showcase of young aquatic talent.
The highly anticipated event drew 181 swimmers from 11 competitive clubs across the country. Athletes competed with passion and determination, aiming to bring glory to their respective teams.

After a thrilling day of races, GH Dolphins emerged as the overall champions, claiming an impressive 62 medals and two coveted individual awards.
Top Individual Performers:
- 🏅 Best Male Swimmer: Boris Ushinskii, who delivered a stellar performance by winning four gold medals.
- 🏅 Best Female Swimmer: Mercedes Abdallah, who dazzled with five gold medals and one silver.
The President’s Cup continues to serve as a platform for identifying and nurturing swimming talent in Ghana, while promoting healthy competition among clubs.
